Dr. Brotzman is a board-certified dermatologist and dermatologic surgeon and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Richmond and a graduate certificate from Virginia Commonwealth University. As a Richmond native, she is delighted to be practicing in and serving her hometown community, seeing patients of all ages and skin types.

Dr. Brotzman graduated first in her class at Campbell University School of Osteopathic Medicine in North Carolina, earning the CUSOM Distinguished Clinical and Biomedical Science Awards for maintaining the highest GPA through all four years of medical school.

She completed her internship and dermatology residency at Case Western Reserve University/University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio. During her training, she served as both Osteopathic Chief Resident and Wellness Chief Resident and was recognized with the Osteopathic Dermatology Research Award for her academic contributions.

Outside of clinical practice, Dr. Brotzman enjoys spending time with her husband, their two dogs and relaxing in Emerald Isle, NC whenever they can. She also enjoys jigsaw puzzles and watching football with friends, as she is now an honorary Buffalo Bills fan by marriage.

Dr. Brotzman is proud to be part of the Elevate Dermatology and Plastic Surgery team, where she is committed to providing personalized and patient-centered dermatologic care. She has special interests in skin cancer prevention and early detection, acne, eczema, and psoriasis.
